Have been playing around with Microsoft Surface and its Workstation SDK.
So as a way of learning Surface APIs and Windows Presentation Framework i ported over SideAmp
From my SideShow SideBar project over to Surface.

Just like SideAmp you it will display Album cover and song data. Pretty straight forward port.
Though there was a bit more problems then i thought there would be to get it on WPF and to get ScatterView to work.
(ScatterView is what it is called when you see them rotate and resize and toss images
and other media around on Surface Demos)

There is a quick video of it in action, pretty small compared to surface as a whole
But the way its is right now is pretty self contained so it can be easly added to other Surface Applications.
Or to anything using WPF right now, ill clean it up and so on once i find a good use for it.
Ill even release the source code so others can use it as well.
I guess next would be to make a bigger version, but i bet this smaller compact one will be a more usefull in the long run.
