Such as next song and prevouse song. A IR remote can also be used on some devices to skip to the next song on the playlist. It also comes with a SideBar plug-in that displays song information and album cover in Windows SideBar. How to Install: Newest version can be found at http://www.rklenka.com First you must have Winamp installed and you must be using Windows Vista or Windows 7. With Winamp not running.(If it is you must restart Winamp) Install SideAmp. Once you install SideAmp you must set it to the devices in SideShow Control. Inorder to use the SideBar capabilities you must allow permissions: Go to: C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets\SideAmp.gadget Then Right click on sideshowoutput.js, then properties, then Security at the top. Allow for Full Control (or at lest Modify and Write) Permissions to the user. Then go to images/ and right click and do the same on background.jpg If you do not set permissions the Album Cover and the SideBar Flyout will just show you a Need Permissions Message. When Winamp is running you must start SideAmp. Default is Start/All Programs/Windows SideShow/SideAmp.exe If you are getting a "Winamp Connection Problem" type error on the gadget and/or SideBar then you are missing a plug-in for Winamp called ActiveWinamp you can find it here: http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/143299 If it gives you a error when installing ActiveWinap just hit ignore. If you are getting a "Can not Find Winamp" type error than you are not running Winamp, so start Winamp then start SideAmp How to use: Well Start Winamp, then Start SideAmp and you should see it on your gadget. Select it and you should you be able to see the Album Cover and Song data. (Depends on your Gadget) You the left and right buttons to change songs, use the middle/ok button to pause, and there is options in the menu to change text color and to use the IR Remote. IR Remote: It only works devices with a IR receaver in it, such as PicoLCD from mini-box.com. Using on a device without a IR receaver may cause problems and slow down the gadget. Windows SideBar: Once you add the SideBar gadget to your SideBar you should just see the Album Cover. Hover your mouse over the Album cover and a fly out will display the album informations. Trouble Shooting: "Can not find Winamp" error - Run Winamp first before running SideAmp "Winamp Connection Problems" Error - try installing ActiveWinamp plug in located: http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/143299 If you get a error during ActiveWinamp installation just hit ignore. All i get is the No Cover Album Art! - SideAmp gets the Album Cover from a image called Folder.jpg from the same folder your image is located. It DOES NOT go online and get it, and it currently DOES NOT pull it from the ID3 tags. If you do not have your media in a folder based system you might have some trouble, as in getting the wrong cover art or not getting any at all. There are a lot of programs out there that will find and download your album art for you. All SideAmp does in display it. You have any more questions/problems/whatever please email me.
